Overview:
Amplify, a leader in K–12 curriculum and assessment solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Operations Analyst to manage the billing cycle and support the company’s accounts receivable processes. The role is crucial to ensuring invoices are issued accurately and disputes are resolved quickly, enabling smooth cash flow and strong customer relationships.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute accurate invoices using NetSuite in a timely manner.
- Process and apply customer payments, reconcile discrepancies, and assist with AR aging and collections support.
- Work closely with sales to confirm billing accuracy, using Salesforce to track orders and customer information.
- Perform reconciliations and analyze billing data using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs) to identify trends and issues.
- Collaborate with collections to resolve billing inquiries, payment disputes, and outstanding balances.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities related to accounts receivable and prepare related reports.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline billing processes and ensure compliance with internal policies.
Required Qualifications:
- 2–4 years’ experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a closely related finance role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.).
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite for billing and invoicing.
- Familiarity with Salesforce as a user for accessing sales/customer data.
