The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Purchasing Specialist to support packaging sourcing, inventory management and supplier relationships while coordinating inbound logistics. This role plays a central part in keeping product flow steady, preventing stock-outs, and partnering closely with Accounts Payable and warehouse teams to service some of the company’s largest strategic accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate purchasing activities across departments and sites, escalating and collaborating with senior management when needed.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve invoicing issues and maintain healthy supplier payment terms.
  • Manage relationships with multiple vendors, expediting orders and adjusting priorities to avoid inventory shortages.
  • Support supply-chain optimization by reacting to market shifts and changes in product mix or transit.
  • Help develop materials management strategies for assigned groups and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Monitor contract compliance and participate in facilities or supplier discussions to resolve operational matters.
  • Work with warehouse and inventory teams on quality checks, cycle counts, and routing to improve accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support procurement and operations goals.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
  • High level of organisation, strong time-management and the ability to manage several projects concurrently.
  • Solid analytical, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional partners (technical, engineering, operations, management).
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfort learning other systems as required.
