Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to join the Finance Department at Saudi German Hospital, Sharjah. This position is ideal for a finance professional with solid experience in hospital financial operations within the UAE who can ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient day-to-day accounting management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations across the hospital finance function, ensuring timely and accurate postings.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close activities and ensure all reconciliations are complete.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in line with UAE regulations and hospital policies.
  • Ensure accuracy of billing, revenue cycle processes, and account reconciliations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and maintain compliance with internal controls.
  • Monitor cash flow, payroll processing, and vendor payments to maintain financial stability.
  • Provide actionable financial insights and reports to management to support strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; Master’s/CPA/ACCA is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5–7 years’ accounting experience, including at least 3 years within a UAE hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards, VAT, and healthcare financial operations.
  • Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
