ClearCaptions is searching for a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team on a fully remote basis. You’ll play a central role in delivering strategic, data-driven financial analysis to support growth and operational decision-making for our organization focused on improving communication for seniors and people with hearing loss.

Position Summary:
As a Senior Financial Analyst you will provide analytical insight into the company’s financial performance, partner with business leaders to influence decisions, and help build robust forecasting and reporting capabilities. This role reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and works closely with business divisions to convert data into actionable recommendations.
What you will do:
Business Support
• Act as a trusted financial advisor to business units — evaluate opportunities, costs, and controls.
• Analyze results, identify performance gaps, and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
• Uncover opportunities to improve financial and operational performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to surface key operational metrics and financial visibility.
• Build business cases for new projects, products, or investments and assess associated risks and returns.
Budgeting & Forecasting
• Lead major components of annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles.
• Improve forecast accuracy and maintain multi-year models in Adaptive Planning and Excel.
• Partner with the Director and CFO to refine corporate financial models and scenario analysis.
• Leverage AI-driven analytics where applicable to streamline reporting and identify trends.
Reporting & Analysis
• Perform deep-dive financial and operational analyses to identify root causes and trends.
• Produce ad hoc models and present clear, actionable insights to non-financial stakeholders and investors.
• Prepare materials suitable for leadership and investor review.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA/CPA is a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience with demonstrated budgeting, forecasting, and business partnership skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with corporate performance tools such as Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel up to 5% (may include occasional overnight trips).
• Proficient with MS Office and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams).
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
• This is a 100% remote role — primary duties performed from home.
• Typical activities include extensive seated computer work, keyboarding, and close screen viewing.
• Remote workers must maintain reliable internet service (recommended 50 Mbps down / 10 Mbps up).
Compensation & Benefits:
• Annual base salary range: $93,000 – $102,000 (final offer based on experience and qualifications).
